That Book is Dangerous? How Sensitivity Manifests in the Publishing Industry

Join Johns Hopkins University's campus chapter of HxA for a thought-provoking conversation with Adam Szetela, author of “That Book Is Dangerous! How Moral Panic, Social Media, and the Culture Wars Are Remaking Publishing.” Szetela will explore how debates over sensitivity, censorship, and representation are reshaping the literary world. The program will open with a discussion between Szetela and George Oppel of the University Writing Program, followed by an audience Q&A.

The event is open to the public, and will take place on the Bloomberg Student Center's 4th Floor.
